Due to increased demand for service work — coupled with a dwindling supply of musical instrument & equipment service professionals in our area — we now only accept repairs that have been booked on our calendar in advance. We routinely see customers who have driven an hour or more just for a guitar setup or other simple maintenance, and appointments are the only way we’ve found to continue to give each job the time it requires. Thank you for your patience.

We offer reliable general repair services for many musical instruments as well as most musical instrument amplifiers, effects units, and pro audio equipment. We are not specialists — we strive to competently service a wide range of musical equipment. If you are in need of someone to re-brace your priceless acoustic, resurrect an esoteric synthesizer you just found, or make a new ribbon for your 60 year old microphone, we encourage you to seek out the appropriate specialized technician. If you need your guitar setup, faulty keys on your keyboard fixed, and someone to hunt down that weird noise in your amplifier, we’re here for you.

HOURLY RATES

Guitars, Pedals, Speaker Cabinets: $50/hr

Amps, Tube or Tape FX, Pedal Steel, Key Repair: $75/hr

Pro Audio, Synths, Keyboards: $100/hr

We do not charge a bench fee. All service work is subject to a one hour minimum charge, with any additional time billed in 15 min increments. Generally most repairs take between 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.

CURRENT AVERAGE TURNAROUND TIMES

Guitars, Other String Instruments: 7-10 days

Amplifiers, Keyboards, Pro Audio: 10-14 days

Unforeseen delays due to parts availability or shipping can occur

GUITAR SETUPS

Labor on a guitar setup typically costs $50 + the cost of strings. This includes restringing the instrument, polishing the frets and cleaning the fingerboard, as well as any nut, relief, action, or intonation adjustments that need to be made. Time permitting, we will make every effort to clear any noisy switches, potentiometers or output jacks.
